IntactPack is developing a software-defined interface layer that allows suitable qualified EV battery packs to participate in stationary energy systems without exposing the rest of the energy system to every OEM-specific implementation detail.

This capability is best described as battery interoperability or battery virtualization — a layer that lets qualified packs talk to stationary systems on common terms.

Available power and energy change with state of charge, health, temperature, operating restrictions, reserve requirements, and current system conditions.
