Engineering a Second Life for EV Energy.
IntactPack Energy Systems is a California-based energy-technology venture focused on second-life electric-vehicle batteries, intelligent stationary integration, lifecycle qualification, connected monitoring, and distributed energy systems.
The company is developing a platform intended to combine:
Battery Qualification
Full-Pack Stationary Integration
Local Energy Control
Remote Monitoring
Fleet Analytics
Lifecycle Records
The initial development program focuses on selected high-volume EV battery platforms, with broader compatibility planned over time.
Pira Baba
Founder & Principal Engineer
Pira Baba is an electrical, embedded-systems, and FPGA engineer with experience developing complex real-time electronic systems and distributed architectures.
His technical background includes embedded control, communications, deterministic system behavior, automotive electronics, system integration, and high-voltage EV projects.
IntactPack Energy Systems was founded around a simple observation: a retired EV battery can retain substantial energy value, but realizing that value responsibly requires much more than connecting a used pack to an inverter. It requires disciplined qualification, intelligent controls, continuous monitoring, safety-conscious integration, and lifecycle management.
To extend the useful life of qualified EV batteries while building intelligent energy systems that support renewable energy, resilient communities, and a more flexible electric grid.
A future in which retired EV batteries are evaluated individually and either redeployed intelligently or recycled responsibly — rather than being treated as identical end-of-life assets.
